This Privacy Policy explains how ViewTrack ("ViewTrack", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ViewTrack mobile app and web console (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Who the Service is for
ViewTrack is a creator-management platform. Creators join a project with an invite code, connect their public social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and the platform tracks the public performance of their content, manages payouts and briefs, and provides in-app messaging with their team. The Service is intended for users 16 years of age or older and is not directed to children.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
Profile photo — an image you choose to upload as your avatar.
Connected accounts — the social media handles/links you choose to connect (e.g. your TikTok/Instagram/YouTube profile). We read public performance data for those accounts (such as views, followers, and posts). We never request or store your social media passwords.
Messages and content — text messages, photos, and voice recordings you send in support and community chats, and any support requests you make.
Information generated through the Service
Performance and earnings data — public stats for your connected content, plus payout and earnings records your team maintains for you within the platform.
Identifiers — your account ID and, if you enable notifications, a push notification token used to deliver alerts to your device.
What we do not collect. We do not collect your device location, your phone contacts, health or fitness data, advertising identifiers, or browsing history. We do not process payment-card information in the app, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. How we use information
To create and operate your account and authenticate you.
To display your content's performance, earnings, leaderboard standing, levels, and briefs.
To power in-app messaging and customer support.
To send notifications you opt into.
To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
We use your information to provide app functionality and support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
4. How information is shared
Your team / project admins. Admins of the project you join can see your profile, connected accounts and their public stats, earnings, activity, and messages within the project.
Service providers. We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, file storage, and backend functions, and Apple Push Notification service / Expo to deliver notifications. They process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
Social platforms. Performance data is derived from the public profiles you connect. We only read publicly available metrics.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You can access and update your name and photo in the app at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by using the in-app sign-out/contact options or by emailing us at the address below; we will process verified requests in accordance with applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security on our database to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International users
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. By using the Service you consent to such transfer, where permitted by law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
